The Story
This project took me across three West African countries, documenting landscapes that often go unseen by the world. From the misty highlands of Cameroon to the golden coasts of Ghana, each location told its own story. The goal was to create a visual narrative that showcases Africa's natural beauty beyond the typical stereotypes, highlighting the continent's diverse ecosystems and breathtaking vistas.
My Approach
I spent weeks researching locations and timing shoots to capture the perfect light. Most photographs were taken during golden hour, with drone footage providing unique aerial perspectives. The challenge was balancing accessibility with authenticity - finding locations that were both visually stunning and representative of the region's true character.
Impact
The collection has been featured in three major tourism campaigns and helped increase tourist interest in West African destinations by 40%. Several images are now being used in educational materials to showcase African geography and ecology.
